Wig Circle collects only the information needed to provide secure membership, community participation, and safe transactions.

Marketplace listings and transaction details
Posts, comments, or private messages within the community
Payment details processed securely through Stripe or PayPal
Email preferences and communication history via Constant Contact
b. Information Collected Automatically
IP address, browser type, and device data
Pages visited, time on site, and referral source
Security and spam-prevention logs from Wordfence, CleanTalk, and Cloudflare
Cookies and analytics (see Section 5)
c. Information from Third Parties
We may receive limited data from Stripe, PayPal, Constant Contact, Pretty Links / ThirstyAffiliates, and analytics services (Google Analytics 4, Independent Analytics).
Each partner follows its own privacy framework and applicable law.
3. How We Use Your Information
Wig Circle uses member information only to operate and improve our community and Marketplace.
We use data to:
Maintain your membership account
Enable listings and transactions
Send newsletters or updates you’ve opted into
Enhance site performance and security
Prevent fraud or unauthorized activity
Comply with legal obligations
We never sell personal information to third parties.
4. Comments & Public Posts
When members post or comment, we collect the data shown in the form plus technical details (IP address and browser agent) to prevent spam.
An anonymized email hash may be sent to Gravatar to display a profile image.
Approved posts display publicly with your chosen name or username.
5. Cookies & Tracking
Cookies help the site remember preferences and improve usability.
They support:
Secure login sessions
Language or display settings
Analytics and performance tracking
Members can manage or delete cookies through browser settings.
Disabling cookies may limit certain features but never your membership access.
6. Embedded Content
Pages may include embedded videos, images, or social-media posts.
Embedded content behaves as if you visited the original site and is subject to that site’s privacy policy.

We share information only as needed to operate Wig Circle securely.

Hosting and backups: GridPane, Vultr, UpdraftPlus

Each partner processes data under its own privacy policy and U.S. law.
8. Data Retention
Comments and metadata → retained for moderation continuity.
Member profiles → kept as long as the account is active.
Transaction records → kept for 7 years for financial compliance.
Backup archives → securely retained for up to 90 days.
Members may request account or data deletion at any time (see Section 9).

Members may at any time:
Request a copy of their stored information
Correct or update personal data
Ask for data deletion or export in portable format
Withdraw email marketing consent
Simply contact our Support Team for assistance; identity verification may be required to protect your account
10. Data Security
We use multiple technical and administrative safeguards to keep member data safe:
SSL/TLS encryption
Cloudflare firewall and DDoS protection
Wordfence and CleanTalk anti-spam monitoring
Regular security updates and backups
While no system is perfectly secure, Wig Circle takes reasonable, documented steps to protect your information.

11. Children’s Privacy
Wig Circle is intended for adults (18+).
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
If such data is identified, it will be deleted promptly.
12. International Users
All servers and backups are hosted in the United States via GridPane and Vultr.
By using Wig Circle from outside the U.S., members consent to the transfer and processing of their data under U.S. law.
13. Policy Updates
Wig Circle may update this Privacy Policy to reflect member feedback or legal changes.
We will announce any meaningful updates on this page or through community notifications.
The “Last Updated” date shows the current version.
