Purpose

The Wig Circle Marketplace connects verified members who wish to sell quality wigs and related products in a safe, transparent, and member-driven environment.

Our goal is to create a positive space where honesty, professionalism, and respect guide every transaction.

Marketplace Sellers agree to uphold Wig Circle’s standards of trust and care in all listings, communications, and sales.

1. Seller Eligibility & Verification

Only members who have earned the Verified & Vetted badge may apply to become Marketplace Sellers.

To maintain a trustworthy environment, sellers agree to:

  • Complete the Seller Application truthfully and completely.

  • Provide accurate photos, business information, and product details.

  • Maintain an active Marketplace Seller Membership.

  • Conduct all activity in alignment with Wig Circle’s Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.

Wig Circle reviews each application to confirm credibility, quality, and compliance with our Trust & Safety Framework.

Seller status may be paused or revoked if a member’s activity violates these standards.

2. Listing Standards

Marketplace listings should always reflect accuracy, integrity, and professionalism.

Sellers agree to:

  • Use real, current photos of each product listed.

  • Clearly describe the wig’s brand, cap size, color, fiber type, and condition.

  • State whether the wig is new, gently worn, or customized.

  • Remove listings promptly once an item has sold.

  • Avoid misleading descriptions or stock images that could confuse buyers.

🚫 Prohibited Listings: counterfeit products, unauthorized replicas, misleading brand claims, or any product violating manufacturer or copyright terms.

3. Pricing, Payments & Refunds

Sellers determine their own prices and manage all transactions directly with buyers.

All payments must be completed through secure, traceable methods such as PayPal Goods & Services.

Wig Circle does not handle payments, hold funds, or collect commissions for the peer-to-peer marketplace.

Sellers are encouraged to:

  • Disclose refund or exchange terms clearly in the listing.

  • Use accurate shipping cost estimates.

  • Follow applicable state and federal tax laws for business transactions.

    Untraceable payments (e.g., “Friends & Family”) are not permitted.

4. Communication & Professional Conduct

Marketplace communication should reflect courtesy and accountability.

Sellers agree to:

  • Respond to buyer messages within 48 hours whenever possible.

  • Be transparent and respectful in all communications.

  • Never pressure, harass, or mislead buyers.

  • Collect only necessary personal information (name, address for shipment).

  • Protect the confidentiality of private messages and buyer details.

Professionalism and kindness help ensure a positive experience for all members.

5. Shipping & Delivery

Sellers commit to timely and reliable delivery practices.

  • Ship items promptly after confirmed payment.

  • Use trackable shipping (e.g., USPS, UPS, FedEx) and retain receipts or tracking numbers.

  • Notify buyers once items are shipped.

  • Resolve shipping issues (lost or damaged items) directly with the carrier.

All sellers are expected to communicate proactively if delays occur.

6. Dispute Resolution

Wig Circle encourages members to resolve issues respectfully and directly whenever possible.

If a disagreement occurs, sellers should:

  • Provide proof of shipment and all relevant communication.

  • Cooperate with payment processor investigations (e.g., PayPal).

    Repeated or unresolved disputes may lead to review of Verified Seller status.

 

7. Enforcement & Revocation Policy

To protect community integrity, Wig Circle may take action when a seller violates policy or engages in misconduct.

Possible actions include:

  • Content or listing removal.

  • Temporary suspension or probation.

  • Revocation of Verified & Vetted status.

  • Forfeiture of Marketplace privileges.

 

These steps follow the Revocation and Enforcement Policy within the Community Guidelines.

When possible, Wig Circle provides education and notice before permanent action is taken.

8. Legal Disclaimer

Marketplace transactions occur directly between members.

Wig Circle provides the platform but does not act as a broker, intermediary, or guarantor.

Members use the Marketplace at their own discretion and are encouraged to follow our Buyer Safety Tips and Seller Best Practices.

Wig Circle LLC, its owners, and administrators are not responsible for losses, damages, or disputes resulting from user-to-user transactions.

9. Reporting & Support

If a concern arises, members can:

  • Contact our Support Team (response within 24–48 hours).

  • Use the “Report Listing” or “Report Member Concern” buttons on-site.

  • Discontinue communication immediately if a transaction feels unsafe.

Wig Circle investigates reports promptly and confidentially to maintain a trusted environment.
